Documents to Support BLM's Solar Energy Program

On April 20, 2012 BLM released the documents shown below supporting its efforts to establish a Solar Energy Program through the Solar PEIS. Through the Draft Solar PEIS and the Supplement to the Draft Solar PEIS, the BLM described how it might utilize monitoring, adaptive management, regional mitigation plans and design features as elements of the proposed Solar Energy Program. Many commenters expressed an interest in reviewing and providing input on these elements of the program ahead of the publication of the Final Solar PEIS. The BLM released the documents below in response to those requests and considered comments received to the extent practicable during preparation of the Final Solar PEIS. These documents did not involve substantial changes to the proposed action or include significant new circumstances or information relevant to environmental concerns. (Note: the final versions of these documents are now available as part of Appendix A in Volume 6 of the Final Solar PEIS).
